Probate valuations
When you're dealing with probate, you need accurate, compliant valuations of house contents that HMRC will accept without question. Mander Auctioneers Sudburyprovides SOFAA accredited probate valuations for chattels (house contents) across Suffolk and Essex.
We specialise in valuing antiques, furniture, art, jewellery, works of art, architectural and garden items, cars and all household contents for inheritance tax purposes. Unlike general house clearance companies, we're qualified SOFAA auctioneers with decades of experience accurately valuing items for probate.
We can usually complete the valuation and send to you within 9 working days or sooner.
We also offer a full or part house clearance service and can sell items at auction from the estate as well.
We offer probate valuations for executors and trustees in accordance with Section 160 of the 1984 Inheritance Act. Individual items worth £1,500 or more are required by law to be individually specified, but for the ease of the executor, we can offer more detailed descriptions and valuations of less valuable items as well. Once probate has been granted we can also advise and arrange the sale of goods at auction. To get started click here
