Norwich saleroom
We are delighted to announce a new auction house in Norwich. The saleroom will be located in St Mary Coslany Church, a characterful building on the outskirts of the city centre, dating from the 11th century.
The saleroom will be managed by Dylan Mander. Dylan is a Chartered auctioneer and valuer and has worked as an auctioneer since leaving school, including for Cheffins in Cambridge, Lacy Scott and Knight in Bury St Edmunds and the family business in Suffolk. He also grew up around Norwich and wrote his dissertation on round tower churches in East Anglia.
The Norwich saleroom will hold regular auctions of art, antiques, jewellery and design. Over time, Dylan intends to incorporate regular specialist auctions into the calendar as well. Norwich is a fascinating and historical city and, hopefully, the auction will complement the area.
The first auction is scheduled for 7th December. You can view the catalogue here. There are a number of interesting items and artist's works already consigned, including Norwich School artists, Norwich silver, Henry Moore, Grayson Perry, David Shrigley, Shepard Fairey, Mouseman, Moorcroft, Dinky toys, mid-century design, jewellery, wristwatches, antiques and much more. If you are interested in attending an auction, head to our forthcoming auctions page. If you are considering selling your items at auction, head to our selling page.
